Radio Riverside was established in 1998 and operates from Upington. The station is licensed to broadcast in the Khara Hais Local Municipality. The format of the license is 65% talk and 35% music. The broadcast languages are 60% Afrikaans, 20% English, 15% isiXhosa and 5% Setswana. The project has a permanent Radio Frequency of 91.3 MHz to broadcast 24/7.
